Additional Programs & Services

WILLCARE's additional programs focus on pain management, cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disease, the use of telehealth and others.  Hourly, task-oriented, or enhanced services are available to assist individuals and families.


WILLCHEK™ Home Coagulation Control Program:
WILLCARE received the Business First Health Care Innovations for Service Award for this program. Using portable monitors, WILLCARE nurses determine a patient’s PT / INR by performing a finger-stick with accurate results in two minutes, ensuring immediate dosage titration.

Special Needs Program:
The Special Needs Certified Home Health Agency Program of WILLCARE is designed to meet individual adult challenges with skill, compassion and sensitivity. Assuring comprehensive case management and total coordination of all services, our staff works collaboratively with family / caregivers and community service providers to arrange physician appointments, medication pick-up and other supportive services.
 
Long-Term Care Program:
WILLCARE’s Long-Term Care Program is an approved New York State home care program that offers a broad range of professional health care services to eligible individuals. It is designed for the disabled and chronically ill that are medically eligible for admission to a nursing home, but choose to remain in their home. Long-Term Home Health Care – A “Nursing Home Without Walls” home care program.
 
Maternal / Child Program:
WILLCARE’s Maternal / Child Program facilitates earlier hospital discharge and enables mothers and infants to receive specialized services and support. 
 
Memory Care Program:
A unique program to promote functional independence, support to caregivers, and assure safe home planning. 
 
Medication Setup / Refill Program:
The Medication Setup / Refill Program is provided by a Registered Nurse to arrange a system for self-administration of prescribed medications.
 
Personal Care Aide Services:
Our personal care aides provide personal care assistance, homemaking, shopping and a variety of other services. Companions, live-in and overnight aide service is provided, as needed, including hospital stays.
 
Bed & Bath Services:
WILLCARE’s Bed & Bath Services are provided by a trained home care aide. Our services include assistance with bathing, dressing and tidying of bathrooms.
  
Personal Emergency Response System:
Personal Emergency Response Systems enable individuals to report an emergency and request assistance at the push of a button, 24 hours a day.
