Lend-a-Friend

WILLCARE’s Lend-A-Friend Program is a private homemaker and companion support service for patients looking to improve their lifestyle, save time, reduce concern and remain independent in the comfortable surroundings of home. It is designed for those able to manage their personal care but who need assistance with daily tasks – or a personal companion to sit and chat with. This could be elderly individuals or couples, adults living away from loved ones, injured and convalescing patients, and new moms and dads.

The program is provided by carefully screened, reference checked, insured, experienced and friendly employees. The services are arranged whenever our patients need them – hourly, daily, weekly or overnight, at a low fee with no minimum hours required.

Lend-a-Friend services include:

  • Trusted companionship
  • Light housekeeping
  • Laundry and linen assistance
  • Shopping and errand services
  • Accompaniment/incidental transportation
  • Meal planning and specialized cooking
  •  Mail sorting and budget management

  • Recreational and social activities
  • In-home monitoring
  • Coordination of yard and handyman services
