History1983 WILLCARE is established as a Licensed Home Care Agency in North Collins, NY. 1985 The Brason Family purchases WILLCARE. WILLCARE establishes a full-service Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) and supplemental staffing Agency in Cleveland, OH.
1986 WILLCARE opens a branch in Jamestown, NY.
1996 WILLCARE acquires SPS Home Care in Buffalo, NY.
1998 WILLCARE acquires Litson Health Care of Monroe in New York’s Hudson Valley Region. The company also opens a Licensed Home Care Branch in Olean, NY, acquires the Certified Division of SPS Home Care in Buffalo, and starts its certified operations in New York State.
1999 WILLCARE expands operations in the Hudson Valley with the acquisition of Litson Certified Care, Competent Care and American Care. The company moves its corporate headquarters to the historic VARS/GOW Building in downtown Buffalo.
2000 The Hudson Valley expansion is complete with the acquisition of the Kingston, NY, branch of US Home Care.
2001 WILLCARE receives CHAP accreditation.
2002 WILLCARE expands in Western New York’s Chautauqua County with the acquisition of a Certified Home Health agency in Jamestown.
2006 WILLCARE expands into Western New York’s Genesee County, opening a recruitment/training site in Batavia, NY.
2009 WILLCARE expands in Allegany County, NY with the acquisition of the Allegany Department of Health Certified Home Health Agency and Long Term Home Health Program. WILLCARE expands its operations to the state of Connecticut with the acquisition of Patient’s Choice Homecare. The acquisition includes operations in Wethersfield, Waterbury, and New Haven.
2011 WILLCARE expands into Niagara County, NY with the acquisition of the assets of Allstate Home Care, a Licensed home care agency with an office in Niagara Falls.
2012 WILLCARE acquired Bermac Home Health Aides in the Hudson Valley, enlarging their base of operations in Dutchess County and expanding their presence in Ulster County, NY.
